Dr. Cole was a co-investigator on this NIH-funded R01 research project, TOGETHR: strategies to prevent HIV acquisition among transgender men who have sex with cisgender men and transgender women and femmes in the US.

As a queer, trans man with a husband, Cole brought both professional expertise and lived experience to this innovative project.
